Dear Roger.
Thanks a lot for taking your time to reply to my few hasty comments. In general, your webside with its indeed very vivid text and descriptions is a great contribution to a more proper knowledge of this particular part of Denmark than I have personally seen before and especially from such a gifted, international traveller and sharp observer like you. It was really a great please to read your report.
Best wishes. Aage

Hello there. Thanks a lot for your kind comments and link of my participation in the Roskilde Vikingships project.

Just to mention that I have written a novel, titel Vand Under neglene (or The legend and secret of the Queens ship wreck, (BIOS, 2006). Might be translated into English some time.

All the best to you yourself and your family.

Hello Gabriel,

Nice to hear from you. Glad you liked the skewering. 8-)

I've not seen the Kobo reader but have the software version on my BlackBerry, where it's easier to read than Amazon's. I use my Kindle all the time but only for words.

Thanks for the tip about Evolven. I'll pass it on to the people who look at plumbing. Good luck with the job.

See you soon!

Hi Roger,

It's Gab, Rosi's fiance writing. Rosi sent me the link to your blog and I have to admit I had a few good laughs reading this post. Who knew there were so many ways to skewer fiction ? :)

I got the Kobo ebook reader as a gift from my sister and it's been nice, although the periodic need to zoom in on graphics is kind of annoying.

BTW, as you work in IT consulting at Bloor, may I suggest you check out (and encourage clients to check out) Evolven (evolven.com)? It's a configuration analytics tool that helps IT departments prevent downtime and other crises by monitoring a lot of backend stuff. I'll hopefully be working with them as a marketing consultant soon, but in any event they have a useful product.

cheers

That was quick! Many thanks, and for the compliment.

All's well here (windy Windermere). Hope the same is true for you and yours.

Thanks, Chris. It's nice to be back.

It's cosy enough in the van for British winters (see http://tinyurl.com/34ex76n ), so I'll overwinter here and decide my next jaunt early next year.

Welcome back to Blighty, Roger!

Is this the end of your travels for now or will you continue in this country? I don't know how the heating is in that vehicle but it's getting pretty cold here, especially during the last week.
